WITNESS THE FITNESS

I love to practice all of the things I enjoy doing — it has this ability to keep my spirits high and my energy youthful. One of those passions is bboying… or breakdancing (whatever you’re used to hearing it be called, lol). I make it a discipline to stay fit and active to continue dancing, and I wanted to give people a glimpse at where I’m at since I’ve stayed pretty silent online. I also wanted to give a shoutout to my guy, Dominique at Tactical Therapeutics who has actively been helping me recover from aches, injuries, and migraines that come from life and stress of dance. He’s a new dad, and so I figured he could use the help on reaching some new eyeballs too!

On the daily, I go into the office to work for the day, and then I’ll walk home — a 5-mile walk. Once home, I’ll hit a 30-minute workout, and if I have the juice left, I’ll get in a light breakin’ session. On this day, I had queued up DJ Fleg’s ‘King Of What?’ break mix and it got me super hype! I decided I was going to test my minerals, get a session in, and film it to see what content I could come up with to chop together. You always gotta practice to keep your skills fresh — which, for me, includes editing, voice-overs, and graphics… so I had my mission and I was amped to get busy.

As I trek this journey at 40, my goal is obviously to stay as healthy as possible (which seems to get tougher each time I think I’m still 25!). Along my path, I’ve found a love for wearing and crafting sportswear, so any way I could incorporate that style element would be cool too. I thought to myself: “if I can be helpful, fun, and entertaining I figure people will enjoy the content more” — so that’s what I focused on. All these factors led me to put together this short video.

I was pleased at how it all turned out, and I look forward to creating another round — this time I’ll keep a t-shirt handy lol! If you’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and need to work on healing issues from shoulder, neck, back, and hip pain, to PTSD and migraines, to stress and cramps — see Dominique here and get an appointment! Also, if you love this type of music, follow DJ Fleg everywhere! And stay original in the three stripes — word to Kanye and Jerry Lorenzo! Adidas is always classic and culture-approved streetwear since RUN DMC. Lol… anyways — more to come soon… peace!
